Numbers on edges

Co-citation frequency, sequence expect values and probabilities

    Literature Network edges show number of co-citations;
    Literature Probability Network edge values are a function of co-citation relative to independent citation of gene (or protein) names;
    Sequence Networks show expect values (probability of "chance" sequence alignment);
    Shortest Path Networks show number of co-citations;
    Network annotation edge values are a function of co-citation relative to independant citation of gene (or protein) and annotation term;

Networks "nodes" are connected by "edges". PubGene network edges are labeled with numerical values. These are either direct article counts or some form of probability statement depending on the type of network presented. Probabilities may be rounded to zero and are analogous to "p" values in that small values are "preferred" since these suggest lower likelihood of being a random artifact.
