Network by sequence similarity and query with sequence
View nearest sequence neighbors and search for similar sequences
Open menu Advanced options;
Select Association type "Sequence";
View network of nearest sequence neighbors;
Mouse over network to highlight connections;
Open links to retrieve a sequence;
Open Sequence Homology tool;
Paste sequence into query window;
View search parameters, graphic summary and alignments to chosen database.

Genes with similar sequence can be displayed as networks.
The overview provided by the network makes it possible to quickly identify genes that, by virtue of similar sequence, may have similar function.
Knowledge can be extended by searching for related sequence and viewing alignments.
To view a sequence network
open the Network Browser in Sequence mode or to submit a sequence query open the
Sequence Homology tool.
